Exhibiting at Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair for a second year, Eska showcases one of her latest drypoints; The Great Flee. Often playfully dark and distinguished by a unique primitive style, Eska draws inspiration from myths, folk art, and her own ideas which often mirror the stark realities of our modern world. A graduate of Falmouth University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in Contemporary Craft, Eska has garnered significant acclaim over the past decade, with her prints and paintings displayed in exhibitions such as the Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition under the patronage of Katherine Jones RA and Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair. In the last six months Eska has been preparing for shows in both London and St Ives and will endeavour to deepen her practice in Ireland in 2025 on an artist residency supported by Arts Council England.
