£0.00

The work explores print, predominately linocut images. These are related to experiences of time and place in colour, line and texture, connecting stories linked to everyday moments seen or recorded. Initially the travelogue or souvenir was always a book of drawings collected scraps that became a response to new and unusual places. Print has always been the medium he turns to as a final result for any image. Drawings, Photographs Cyanotypes and Constructions all lead this way.

Recent work has involved found ephemera and manipulated textures along with shapes and silhouettes of people and places that have inhabited the intial lockdown world. Layering colours and textures help build up the levels of symbols and mystery in the work as well as the happy accident and chance of the process

Work has been exhibited in various collections including Knapp Gallery, Mustoe Merriman Ad Agency, National Art library/ V&A. Illustration awards/Society of artists agents, National print exhibition, RFH, Guitty Talberg, Jill George, The Hayward Gallery, The brain Trust, RE Small but mighty and the sketchbook project /Brooklyn Art library.
