**Constanza Pulit** (b. 1994) is an Argentinian artist based in London. She holds an MFA in Printmaking from Camberwell College of Arts and was awarded the May Gwen Recent Graduate Award in 2024. Pulit draws on a collection of images to construct narratives reminiscent of folkloric tales. Inspired by the mystique of old superstitions, she creates unsettling and dreamlike landscapes using her personal photographic archive. Images of herself, her friends, and her lovers build fictions as illustrations of contemporary tales. Working with various printmaking processes, she investigates the tension between the real and the constructed, exploring their blurred boundaries. Her artistic process unfolds in an intimate, psychological space, where she instinctively plays with sexual tension, crafting alluring and erotic atmospheres. Her prints evoke a sense of ambiguity, creating images that exude a dreamlike, enigmatic aura. The landscapes teeter on the edge of an impending event, with female figures taking on a transcendental role within nature’s embrace. Naked bodies and trees serve as central elements in her compositions, alongside butterflies and shifts in color, resulting in a disjointed, sensual, and nostalgic composition.
