Lorraine Botbol

£0.00
Lorraine Botbol's work is influenced by portraits and figurative images. By using traditional printing techniques, intaglio and relief with her photography images she is able to formulate and manipulate the two processes. It often has a unique and interesting outcome. Botbol is bringing a new exciting series 'Tumbling' to WCPF. Botbol has experimented over the last year using the viscosity technique and combined it with intaglio polymer etching. She wanted to keep the detail but also to show the movement of the figure (as in Tightrope 1 series). Botbol studied Photography and Fine Art Printing in Westminster over 20 years ago. She has been actively exhibiting over the last two decades. Exhibitions include Bonhams, The Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, International Original Print Exhibition, Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair plus group exhibitions with the Print Makers Council, Bankside, Linden Hall Gallery and Mandells Gallery. Botbol's work is held in major public collections including the V&A, Royal Marsden and the Marylebone Society.
